MD Therapies
MD Therapies is a service offering both Hypnotherapy and Counselling
It is run by its founder Mary Davy and is based in the cathedral City of Lincoln in the heart of Lincolnshire.
Mary has been a fully qualified Counsellor since the year 2000 and has successfully run a private counselling service since that time. Issues covered have ranged from relationship problems, anxiety and stress through to depression, rape and childhood abuse.
Always looking for ways to improve the service that Mary offers she decided to supplement her counselling service with a hypnotherapy service and so she completed her Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Mary also works with other qualified counsellors who can offer specialisations such as counselling for children or bereavement – information on these services can be obtained by email.
After qualifying as a hypnotherapist Mary joined with two other hypnotherapists to begin WATCH (Women’s Association of Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy). WATCH is an association of hypnotherapists covering the areas of Nottingham, Lincoln and Sheffield and is run by women thus offering a safe service for other women who may feel insecure if seeing a male therapist alone.
